The site editor is Hugh Capel.
Items selected for display on the site will be chosen for their anticipated
interest to a modern audience.
The emphasis will be on variety, featuring a wide range of life in
19th Century Australia. There will be no particular attempt
to follow themes. Every week will be a new surprise.
Because items will initially be drawn from the editor's personal research they
may reflect a particular focus. As other people send in contributions
the range can be broadened.
Final selection of items, and timing for their display will be at the editor's
discretion.
No items that are judged likely to be offensive to readers will be
included. Similar standards will apply to material posted on the
Controversy Pages, and on the Notice Board.
